Summary
Would you like to work in a Rehabilitation Unit inpatient setting? Would you like to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals working alongside other Therapy staff? Would you like to work in a dynamic and supportive team?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible candidate to join our Intermediate Care Therapy team working as a Rehabilitation Support Worker at the Bexhill Irvine Unit. You will be working alongside other Rehabilitation Support Workers and the Associate Practitioner to deliver delegated therapy rehab tasks (both on an individual patient basis and patient groups). These tasks will have a Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy or Dietetic focus. Applicants with experience in any of these disciplines are welcome but is not essential as competency training will be provided.
This post is ideal for candidates who are keen to learn, able to work independently and have a health care background. You will have your own daily caseload of patients under the guidance of the Associate Practitioner and will carry out delegated therapy tasks. You will be working as part of the Intermediate Care Therapy Team and will provide feedback on patient’s rehabilitation progress, including clear and concise documentation. Clinical supervision and peer support will be provided, and we will offer opportunities for learning and development.
