This role is a permanent contract. 39 hours per week - Working Monday - Friday, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays.

What you’ll be doing…
Recycling is a significant part of production here on the farm. As an ethical and sustainable business, it is important that we continuously look at our material consumption and reduce the waste we generate as much as possible. The packaging we use to deliver our produce to our customers is carefully selected to be robust, ethical and as environmentally friendly as possible. Our veg boxes and other packaging are designed to be reused up to 10 times; so, we actively encourage our customers to return our packaging to us so we can reuse it or dispose of it correctly.
Your role in the recycling department will be to check quality, usability, clean and sort the recycling that is returned to us. Our reusable and beautiful packaging is them redistributed around our production barn so that the cycle can start all over again.
What we’re looking for
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a production or warehousing environment
Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
You must be able to lift and manoeuvre crates of produce and veg boxes
You should have good communication skills and be able to speak and understand English to a level that enables you to comprehend instructions and the daily requirements of the role
