Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027, Part-Time (18.5 hours per week)

Location: Hastings Museum & Art Gallery
Hastings Borough Council is seeking a Collections Access Officer to support the documentation, care, and accessibility of Hastings Museum’s collections.
Working within the Collections & Engagement team, you will play a key role in ensuring collections are accurately recorded to SPECTRUM 5.0 standards, improving access to collections information, and supporting engagement, research, and outreach activities.
Key aspects of the role include maintaining and enhancing records on the Modes Collections Management System, resolving documentation discrepancies, supporting acquisitions, loans and disposals, and contributing to the development of online collections content.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the preservation and accessibility of Hastings’ cultural heritage as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking museum team.
