Job Advert

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Safeguarding and Personal Welfare Officer. We are looking for someone who is passionate
about working with children and who can identify barriers to learning, risks and who enjoys engaging, building and sustaining
relationships with children, their families and their network of external agencies to support in building aspirations in school.




The job will involve:

● Working alongside children and their families who are in need of advice and support to improve wellbeing, attendance and
academic success

● Act as a positive role model in education; act as a ‘change agent’ who is skilled at taking different positions to help our
pupils and their families understand the value of education; harness and build on their strengths; work collaboratively with CP
case loads and safety and wellbeing plans and tackle difficult issues to reduce risk, raise ambition and effect positive changes
in their lives

● Supporting excellent practice with the CP Team, Ambition Tutors, Teachers and Learning Support through in-school work and to
conduct home welfare checks, working closely with Social Workers and Early Help
