Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is ready to lead, inspire and shape high quality services for children and young people with disabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated Children and Families service where you will work alongside skilled multidisciplinary colleagues, contribute to innovative practice, and influence meaningful outcomes for families across Wiltshire. You’ll have the chance to grow your leadership capability, develop professionally, and work with modern systems and approaches that support safe, effective and creative OT practice. As part of a team committed to continuous improvement, you will benefit from strong peer networks, supportive management, and opportunities to contribute to service development.

In this role, you will oversee the day to day delivery of the Occupational Therapy service, manage and support a team of practitioners, and ensure high standards of assessment, equipment provision and professional practice. Your work will include analysing performance data, partnering with other agencies, managing budgets, leading on contract monitoring for children’s equipment, and offering expert guidance on complex cases.

To succeed, you will be a qualified and HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with strong knowledge of equipment provision, excellent communication skills, and experience of leading or supervising others. You should be confident in interpreting data, managing risk, prioritising workloads, and providing professional consultation within a multidisciplinary setting.

If you’re committed to helping children live safely, independently and with the best possible quality of life – we’d love to hear from you.
