Job: Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee efficient warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Manage a small growing warehouse staff of 6-10, and equipment while ensuring safety, security, maintenance, and smooth administrative processes.

Objectives of this role:

● Ensure warehouse operations run at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal. Supervise, organize, and train warehouse staff while monitoring and achieving operational targets.
● Develop and maintain warehouse systems covering product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping processes.
● Train, and manage warehouse staff to solve operational challenges and meet performance goals.
● Supervise daily operations, controlling inventory, logistics, and workflows.
● Plan and optimize staffing, space, equipment layouts, and processes to meet productivity, quality, and service standards.
● Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

Key responsibilities:

● Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory control, logistics, quality assurance, space management, and customer service.
● Adhere and implement correct procedure for Goods In process to ensure accurate receiving of goods and correct processing of goods received.
● Adhere and implement the Replenishment and Stock movement process to manage the correct and accurate replenishment and movement of stock.
● Schedule and coordinate the team, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal overtime.
● Monitor productivity and implement actionable plans to prevent losses and improve performance.
● Manage day-to-day transportation logistics, liaising with couriers and haulers to ensure timely delivery.
● Maintain health and safety standards for staff and warehouse operations.
● Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes in line with operational policies.
● Ensure effective use of warehouse equipment and safe working practices.
● Lead, motivate, and, when necessary, discipline staff to maintain high performance.
● Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, prioritizing as per business requirements.
● Implement and maintain perpetual stock-taking procedures to achieve high stock accuracy.
● Oversee warehouse maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment.
● Plan and coordinate day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, goods intake, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
● Continuously identify and implement efficiency improvements in systems, methods, and workforce management.
● Work to 5S standards to maintain company standards and requirements
