Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver - Barnsley
Location: Barnsley
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
Times & Days: Monday to Friday - 7:00am start

The Best Connection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics business based in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver seeking consistent weekday work with regular start times, carrying out multidrop deliveries.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
* Completing full pre- and post-vehicle checks
* Carrying out multidrop deliveries to customer sites as per planned routes
* Following delivery schedules and instructions accurately
* Completing trunking, palletised multidrop deliveries or general haulage work (depending on route)
* Communicating professionally with the transport office and customers
* Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed correctly
* Adhering to all company and industry health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Experience with multidrop work preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Comfortable with early morning starts
