Summary
Our client, a thriving primary school nestled in the bustling borough of Harrow, London, is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children as they embark on their educational journey.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will have the privilege of supporting our passionate Early Years team in providing a stimulating, inclusive, and safe environment where our little learners can explore, discover, and grow. Situated in the vibrant community of Harrow, our school prides itself on fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, celebrating diversity, and encouraging each child to reach their full potential.
Your role will be pivotal in assisting our EYFS Lead and class teachers in delivering a well-rounded curriculum that caters to the unique needs and interests of our Foundation Stage pupils. You will work closely with the teaching staff to plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities that promote the three prime areas of learning: communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development.
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to observe and monitor the children's progress, providing valuable insights that will inform our personalised approach to learning. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of child development will be instrumental in identifying each child's strengths, challenges, and areas for growth.
In addition to your classroom responsibilities, you will actively participate in creating a vibrant, stimulating, and safe learning environment. This may involve setting up and maintaining engaging learning areas, preparing resources and materials, and ensuring that the classroom adheres to all relevant health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual who is passionate about supporting young children's holistic development. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing the unique talents and capabilities of each child in our care.
Flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit are essential, as you will work seamlessly with our teaching team, families, and the wider school community. If you have experience working in an early years setting and a relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), we would be delighted to hear from you.
In return, our client offers a competitive daily rate of £105 - £115, as well as the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive, and welcoming school community. You will benefit from ongoing professional development and the chance to contribute to the continued growth and success of our EYFS provision.
If you are ready to embark on a rewarding career path that puts the needs of young children at the heart of everything you do, we encourage you to apply for this exciting EYFS Teaching Assistant role in Harrow, London.
