Finance Assistant - School Setting
Location: Newham
Salary: £100-£130 per day
Start: ASAP
⏰ Hours: Full-time (term time only)
We are working with a welcoming and well-run school looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to support their busy finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with school-based finance experience who is confident working independently and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising and processing purchase orders (POs)
- Managing invoices and supporting the payment process
- Using Google Sheets to track budgets, spend, and financial data
- Supporting day-to-day finance administration
- Liaising with suppliers and internal staff
- Assisting with reconciliations and general finance duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school finance/admin role
- Strong working knowledge of Bromcom
- Confident using Google Sheets / Excel
- Experience with purchase orders and invoicing
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
