Remedy are currently working with a fantastic SEN secondary school in Lewisham who are looking to recruit a passionate SEN Secondary Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a rewarding opportunity for teachers who are committed to supporting pupils with ASD and additional complex needs within a specialist setting.

Key Details:
- Location: SEN Secondary School in Lewisham
- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract: Long term/Permanent
- Salary: £200 - £240 per day
- Hours: Full-time
- Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

The Role:
- Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
- Support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Promote students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff
- Lead classroom routines and contribute to the wider school community
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practice

Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly ASD and complex needs
- Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
- Experience supporting students with communication and social needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, adaptable, and positive approach
