Summary
The postholder will As part of the Ashford and St Peters Dietetic Departmentprovide a high-quality nutrition and dietetic service to Paediatric in-patients, out-patients, carers and staff at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals. As a practitioner with a high degree of autonomy take responsibility for managing own workload and planning this effectively To take an active role within the general functioning of the Dietetic Department, including contributing to student training. Communicate and collaborate with team members, otherHCPsand partner organisations to support service improvements. Person Specification Qualifications Essential 4 year degree in Dietetics (or equivalent qualification) Registration with HCPC Desirable Student supervisory skills course Membership of the British Dietetic Association Post-Registration BDA Paediatric Course Module 1 Experience Essential General NHS experience in clinical dietetics Experience of a secondary care setting with a paediatrics service Experience working in a range of clinical settings within the NHS environment Experience of multidisciplinary team working Evidence of continuing professional development Desirable Experience of student training Delivering presentations Clinical audit/ service development Experience in catering liaison and menu planning Experience of working with children & young people Knowledge Essential NHS Constitution Trust vision, values and strategic objectives Knowledge of HCPC code of conduct and adherence to these Understanding of clinical governance principles and their application.
