Summary
The Job Plan is annualised to 11 PA's. This means that the individual appointed will be expected to deliver 8.5 sessions of DCC per week. The post-holder will have regular elective operating sessions, clinics and the opportunity for endoscopy lists should it fit with the post-holders skillset. They will be across all of our sites (Queens Medical Centre, City Hospital and Treatment Centre). These will sit within the Colorectal Surgery specialty, overseen by the Head of Colorectal. Some of these commitments will be out of work-day hours e.g. evenings and weekends. The Unit will actively support the development of subspecialist interests in line with the vision for colorectal surgery at NUH and provision for this will be made via individualised training opportunities.
