We're currently recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled M&E / HVAC Engineer to join our Maintenance Team, servicing and maintaining equipment across three manufacturing sites in Towcester, all within a two‑mile radius.
The role will be based at one of the new build sites, with occasional support required at the existing site. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and dynamic engineer with a strong, hands‑on understanding of mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems within a manufacturing environment.
Role Responsibilities:
-Responsible for full HVAC system maintenance.
-Competent in working on both single and three phase electrical circuits.
-Maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment commonly found within a manufacturing environment, including HVAC systems, pumps, motors, inverters, building management systems and lighting circuits.
-Carry out reactive service work to all aspects of the manufacturing environment and, as a minimum, make systems safe.
-Carry out proactive, planned service work to ensure assets operate efficiently and reliably.
-Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and within agreed timeframes.
-Operate and update all works undertaken on a daily basis using PDA and Service Desk systems.
-Undertake additional duties in line with skills and capabilities as required.
-Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a proactive attitude towards colleagues, customers and work in general.
-Participate in the Out of Hours on‑call rotation, receiving an allowance and overtime rate.
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
-Recognised mechanical or HVAC qualifications (NVQ Level 2 & 3 minimum).
-Fully recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 2 & 3 minimum).
-18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
-Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
-Ability to gain full SC Clearance in accordance with client requirements.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
