Summary
Main Purpose:
You will be required to assist in all aspects of the departments daily operations but will focus on the fitting of all flat panel graphics/livery and chapter 8 reflective vinyl. You will be expected to undertake the production of livery and graphics from start to finish, and then the fitting to vehicles on the shop floor. No wrap work is expected but can be trained.
You will require a significant amount of experience and would benefit from any knowledge of digital printing, cutting/plotting, and laminating.
Key Tasks:
• Media and graphics preparation and production, to include printing, laminating, cutting/plotting, weeding, and applying and fitting.
• Fitting of livery to commercial vehicles.
• General Housekeeping and the continued maintenance of a clean and tidy work area and workshop.
• The use of digital wide format latex printers, vinyl, plotters/cutters and laminators.
• Basic computer designing. Using software such as Adobe illustrator and Coreldraw.
Skills:
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good Practical Skills.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instruction.
