Summary
HGV Class 2 Driver - on going work with the potential to go permanent.
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Newbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HGV 2 driver with an immediate start available.
Further Information About The Role:
- Monday to Friday
- Typical working hours: 08:00 - 18:00
- Delivering stones, gravel, turf, and garden furniture
- Deliveries to both residential and commercial customers
- 10-12 drops per day
- Vehicle will be pre-loaded, however you will be required to unload using pump trucks and tail lifts
- This is a hands-on HGV 2 role requiring good time management and customer interaction
Pay & Benefits:
- £17.00 per hour (standard rate)
- Overtime available:
- Saturdays: £25.50 per hour
- Sundays: £34.00 per hour
- Weekly pay
- After 12 weeks (permanent contract):
- Salary increases to £33,164.04 per year
- £50 weekly attendance bonus
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1+ year HGV Class 2 driving experience
