The college is looking to take on a full time Maths Lecturer on a long term temporary basis. The successful Maths Lecturer will be delivering GCSE Maths resit sessions to post-16 learners, supporting students of mixed ability and encouraging engagement, progress and attainment in a classroom setting.
The successful Maths Lecturer will have:
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
• Experience delivering GCSE Maths
• Experience working within an FE or post-16 setting
• Strong classroom management and engagement skills
• The ability to support learners of mixed ability
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
