Applications are invited from individuals who welcome the chance to work within IT Services communicating all elements of IT Change.
The IT Communications & Digital Content Specialist will create, manage and execute IT communications strategy and plans.
The role holder will primarily work with IT senior stakeholders and supporting the Head of Pipeline and PMO Governance to ensure technical IT project change communication is translated appropriately for the stakeholders and intended audiences, interacting with the University’s central communications team where appropriate.
The role holder will create, and update IT Programme Change communication on behalf of the Head of Pipeline and PMO Governance and PMO to senior University stakeholders and committees.
Major IT incident communication will be a priority, and the successful candidate will be a key part of the matrix team in Priority 1 and 2 incident response, whilst being accountable for all IT priority incident communication to stakeholders.
The IT Communications & Digital Content Specialist will be accountable for the IT Department’s content on the Student and Staff Intranets, University Apps and social media.
