Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to support the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions. This role involves managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective communication between warehouse staff, suppliers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate stock and inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Process goods-in and goods-out documentation, including delivery notes and invoices
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Update databases and generate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and performance
Handle customer and supplier queries related to shipments and deliveries
Assist in scheduling deliveries and collections with transport providers
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and UK regulations
Support audits and stock checks, investigating discrepancies where necessary
Maintain filing systems (digital and paper-based) for easy retrieval of records
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or warehouse support role (preferred)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of UK logistics and supply chain processes
Experience with stock control and inventory management
Familiarity with health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment
