Summary
Warren Services Ltd is an established and highly successful Engineering Manufacturing business based in Thetford, Norfolk. We have a permanent opportunity for a high caliber candidate to support our Orders team in a role encompassing the engineering planning of new jobs, order entry and progression and customer liaison. Role: Junior Planner/Administrator
Required to;
Provide support and assistance to the Orders team in all departmental tasks
Aid in administrative duties for the wider team
Liaise with customers in regard to delivery progression
Liaise with engineers and customers to address any manufacturing issues or queries
Process purchase orders
Interpret engineering drawings to plan new jobs to suit manufacturing production requirements (training will be given)
Work to tight lead-times
Assist the rest of the team as required and with the answering of incoming calls
Required attributes and skills;
Basic engineering knowledge
GCSE Math & English Grade C / Grade 4 or above, strong ICT skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be advantageous as would experience of a similar office environment, although training will be given
Good communication in all aspects
Confidence to learn and use other software applications
Desirable attributes;
Strong engineering knowledge
Experience in a customer facing position
Hours/Benefits;
08:00 – 16:00 40 hours per week over Mon-Fri (Hours negotiable)
33 days holiday (incl. Bank Holidays of which 4 must be taken at the Christmas shutdown)
