Summary

ACCOMMODATION ASSISTANT

Lancaster University provides approximately 6700 rooms for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The accommodation is located across our nine colleges and in the city centre and creates highly diverse and vibrant communities. 

The Accommodation Services Team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide a customer orientated front line service to current and prospective students as part of a strong and supportive wider team. The team are responsible for delivering a professional and friendly accommodation service to students living on campus as well as assisting with the transition to off campus living.


Due to the customer focused nature of the role, on campus working is required.


You will deliver professional front line customer service; dealing with a wide range of queries and concerns and applying knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation. You will have excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to work flexibly with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

In addition to a Personal Development Plan, additional training and qualifications will be available via the Apprenticeship Levy for candidates if appropriate.

This is a part-time position, 18.5 hours per week.
