Duties of the HGV Technician:
- Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGV vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
- Occasionally work on light commercial vehicles (vans)
- Maintain high standards of workshop efficiency and quality workmanship
- Complete necessary documentation and reports related to vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Support team colleagues with technical expertise and knowledge sharing as required
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
- Level 3 qualification in HGV Repair & Maintenance or equivalent
- Proven experience working on HGV vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Own set of tools suitable for heavy vehicle maintenance
- Class 1 licence desirable, with training available if needed
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
