Salary: £14.19 per hour
Hours: Full-Time permanent contract. 3 night shifts per week (7pm-7am), including alternate weekends

About Nightingale Nursing and Care Home
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine’s values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents
Role Responsibilities as a Cook
- Providing, managing, and developing a high-quality catering service to our residents, guests and visitors to the home.
- Operating a safe, professional, and cost-effective catering service within the company operational standards and complying with all statutory requirements.
- Ensuring that all our residents are provided with enough choice of nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, broadly following the standard menus.
- Ensuring that food orders are made punctually two times a week and that the food costs are within budget throughout the year.
Role Requirements as a Cook
- Level 3 in Catering or be contractually signed up to complete this qualification.
- Hold two years minimum catering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience conducting effective person-centred one to ones.
- Hold one year minimum people management experience.
- Live within 20 minutes of the Home.
