Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Spires College is looking to appoint a knowledgeable, enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education. The ability to also teach A level Religious Studies would be advantageous but is by no means essential.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching as well as for their subject. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers or experienced teachers who wish to take advantage of a new challenge.

You will:

• be, or have the potential to become, an exceptional and innovative classroom practitioner;
• be committed to working in a close, collaborative team environment within the Humanities Department;
• be able to use a strong pedagogical understanding to successfully deliver the curriculum;
