We are a dedicated Adults Safeguarding team who ensure that Denbighshire statutory duties in regards to safeguarding adults at risk are achieved. As a team we are involved in the implementation of effective legislative processes that allow individuals to acknowledge the impact positive risk taking can have in their lives, to be protected from potential and actual risk of harm and to strive towards their desired outcomes.
We are looking for a qualified BIA to join our safeguarding team. The successful candidate will be required to undertake Best Interest Assessments under DoLS legislation and be available to work full time (37hrs) a week. Please note that in order to comply with working in Wales the candidate will need to be registered with Social Care Wales or a willingness to register.
We will need a candidate who can undertake face to face meetings within Denbighshire with an office space available in Ruthin or Rhyl if needed.
