Labourer
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for 2 Labourers to join a company that specialises in supporting exhibitions, events, warehousing and logistics solutions. This includes transport, storage, installation and on‑site operational support for clients across the UK.
The warehouse is based in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield, where the successful candidates will be based for the first 2-3 weeks. After this period, work may take place on‑site at venues such as the NEC Birmingham and other locations nationwide, depending on event schedules.
This role is ideal for physically fit, hardworking labourers who are used to demanding, hands‑on work and take pride in getting stuck in.
Your Role
As a Labourer, your duties will include:
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Loading and off‑loading trucks
- Stacking equipment and materials
- General site and warehouse labouring
- Assembly and fitting work
- Pallet work
- Tidying work areas and maintaining site standards
- Supporting operational tasks as required
This is a hands‑on role and requires individuals who are proactive and ready to move straight onto the next task without supervision.
Requirements
- Previous site or labouring experience essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work
- CSCS card highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to travel requirements
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel nationwide when required
Pay & Shifts
- £15.00 per hour (open to increase with experience)
Standard Working Hours:
- 07:30 - 16:30
Hours may vary when working on event sites.
