About the Role
We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and growing food/ingredients manufacturing company based in Portbury. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role involving picking, loading, and supporting production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities of Production Operative:
- Picking ingredients using handheld scanners
- Loading pallets and preparing materials for production
- Mixing ingredients for production
- Handling and lifting products up to 25kg
- Working efficiently in a fast‑paced warehouse/production environment
- Supporting production teams with general duties as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all site Health & Safety procedures
Requirements of a Production Operative:
- Ability to lift up to 25kg repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physical role
- Previous warehouse or production experience beneficial but not essential
- Must be able to travel to Portbury (driving required due to location)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts
