Summary
To manage and provide infusion therapy to patients in their own home or attending a community clinic. Liaise with the health centre team and colleagues across the wider social and health care environment to promote, maintain and enhance effective multidisciplinary patient care. To act as an autonomous practitioner to provide specialist advice to patients and staff which contributes to assessment, diagnosis, care and treatment of clients receiving infusion therapy. Possess and demonstrate extended skills in the management of vascular access and intravenous infusions.
