Summary

3D Printing Academy is seeking passionate and skilled 3D Printing and CAD Instructors to deliver hands-on, industry-focused training across our College and University Skills Development Programmes.

The role involves teaching learners how to design and create real-world projects using leading CAD platforms such as Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, Rhino3D, SolidWorks, Blender, and TinkerCAD, while guiding them through the complete 3D printing workflow from design to finished product.

Applicants should demonstrate strong CAD expertise, good communication skills, and ideally some teaching or mentoring experience. Certification in Autodesk or SolidWorks is desirable but not essential. 3D Printing Academy will support successful candidates to gain accredited instructor certification.

• Support to obtain Autodesk or SolidWorks Certified Instructor status (training covered).
• Access to professional 3D printing facilities and software licences.
• Flexible working options across UK campuses and hybrid delivery where appropriate.
• Opportunities for portfolio development and long-term collaboration with 3DPA.
