Summary
We’re looking for an experienced and values-driven Income Manager to lead our high-performing income service and help shape its future.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in protecting our financial resilience while supporting residents to sustain their homes through a person-centred, prevention-focused approach.
About the role
As Income Manager, you’ll provide leadership, direction and assurance across all income and recoverable debt services, including rent, service charges, and leasehold income.
You’ll:
Lead, coach and inspire a committed team to deliver excellent income performance
Use data, insight and performance trends to identify risks and drive improvement
Promote a “prevention first” approach, balancing support for residents with fair and proportionate recovery action
Oversee complex and high-risk cases, ensuring legal compliance and best practice
Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners, influencing decisions and driving positive outcomes
Strengthen organisational assurance through robust controls and continuous service improvement
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who:
Has experience leading or influencing teams in housing or income management
Brings strong knowledge of rent, arrears and recoverable debt processes
Uses data and insight to make informed decisions and improve outcomes
Can balance empathy and support with firm, fair decision-making
Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
Is committed to a values-led, inclusive and customer-focused approach
