Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilledSenior Physiotherapistto join our team as a part of our Inpatient Rotations covering:

· ITU/ Surgery

· Acute Medicine (ED and AMU)

· Respiratory Medicine

· General Medicine

· Stroke Unit

· Neuro Outliers

· Neuro Outpatients

As a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist, you’ll be a key part of our inpatient therapy service, delivering high-quality assessment and treatment while building specialist skills within a supportive rotation structure.

You will work closely with the MDT especially Occupational Therapy to support safe, timely patient flow, with opportunities to develop advanced clinical reasoning, prioritisation, and leadership skills across multiple areas.

• Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services, assessing and treating patients, including those with complex needs, using evidence-based practice.
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, formulate individualised management and treatment plans, and implement a range of specialised interventions.
• Maintain professional and legal accountability for all aspects of clinical practice, including accurate patient documentation and adherence to professional guidelines.
• Demonstrate expertise in clinical governance and risk management, ensuring that treatment plans are supported by current evidence.
• Utilise advanced manual techniques and therapeutic handling, often requiring moderate physical effort.
• Stay abreast of developments within the speciality, analyse current research, and implement changes in clinical practice.
• Safely use and ensure the maintenance of physiotherapy equipment, adhering to departmental policies.
• Participate in 7 day working, weekend rotas, emergency on call rotas and extended days as per rotation service need.
