HGV Class 1 Drivers Required - Salmsbury
We are working in partnership with a well‑established logistics operation in Salmsbury and are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing general haulage and store delivery work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking consistent shifts, competitive pay, and flexible working patterns.
The Work:
- General haulage, trunking, and store deliveries
- Cage work included
- Operating articulated vehicles
- Clean, well‑maintained fleet
- Day or night shifts
- Monday to Friday availability
- Safe and compliant operation of Class 1 vehicles
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Completing deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Accurate completion of paperwork and use of hand‑held terminals
- Strict adherence to tacho rules, WTD, and road safety regulations
- Maintaining communication with the transport office regarding delays
- Representing the client professionally on site
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- In‑date Driver CPC and digital tacho card
- Ideally 6-12 months' Class 1 experience
- Newly passed drivers considered on supported sites (Full induction required)
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and customer‑orientated
- £14.76 per hour
