Summary

ICT Support Administrator 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm (Term Time Only) Surrey Pay Grade: S4 £17,960 - £19,231 (FTE £25,052 - £26,825)
Oakwood School is seeking to appoint a reliable, well-organised, and approachable ICT Administrator to provide first-line ICT support to staff, students, and parents, and to support the wider ICT team in the day-to-day running of ICT services across the school. Working under the direction of the ICT Strategic Network Manager, you play a key role in ensuring ICT systems are accessible, well managed and effectively supported, contributing to a positive learning environment for the whole school community. This role would suit someone with strong administrative skills, confidence in supporting ICT systems at a user level, and the ability to communicate clearly with students, staff and parents. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line ICT support to members of the school community. Log, monitor and assign jobs using the ICT Helpdesk. Support students with password resets and access to ICT systems. Monitor and respond to requests received via the ICT Support mailbox, including parent login queries. Manage the loan, return and logging of laptops and ICT equipment. Assist staff with retrieving and sharing CCTV footage in line with procedure. Create staff ID badges and manage access to door entry systems. Support the onboarding of new students and staff, including ICT access. Maintain ICT documentation and keep the asset register up to date. Carry out regular checks of ICT teaching rooms, reporting faults via the Helpdesk. Attend meetings as required and assist with general ICT administrative tasks. Participate in the duty rota to supervise students as required. You should have: Good literacy and numeracy skills. Strong communication skills and a helpful, professional manner. Confidence working with ICT systems at a user level. Good organisation skills and attention to detail. A positive outlook and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to equal opportunities and safeguarding.
