The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking colleague who will be tireless in supporting students and helping them to overcome challenges that can be barriers to success.
You will join the Additional Learning Needs team and play a significant role in helping the school provide students with an excellent educational experience. Working under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff and members of the school leadership team, you will support individuals and groups of students to access and develop their learning.
The role will involve supporting students in the classroom and beyond, assisting teachers in the management of students, promoting inclusion and acceptance, encouraging students to engage in learning activities, and helping to develop students’ self-esteem and independence.
You will also provide feedback to teachers on students’ development, achievement and progress, help create a purposeful and supportive learning environment, and contribute to the overall ethos, aims and work of the school.
