Summary

Our staff have the ability to be mature,
responsible and dependable while also
being fun and easy going!ResponsibilitiesTo be responsible for the overall
wellbeing and happiness of the
children in your care.
To help deliver a program of daily
activities suitable for the age range
of the children in a safe
environment.
Follow activity plans and
instructions provided by the Camp
Manager.
Lead and supervise a group of
children during daily activities,
games, and outings.
To promote the ethos of Discover
Activity Camps, providing an
exceptional role model to children
in your care.
Promotion of exceptional
safeguarding practices at all times,
including awareness or recording
and reporting procedure in
accordance with the Safeguarding
Policy.
To be responsible for the security
of the premises in which activities
are undertaken.
To ensure that buildings and rooms
are adequately secured upon
departure through the use of door
codes and locks.
Provide a friendly welcome to all
holiday club attendees, meeting
and greeting parents, signing
children in at the start of the day
and out at the end of the day.
Accompanying children around the
site to different activities,
supervising lunch and supervising
open play sessions.Experience &
Qualifications
Experience working with children
aged 4 - 14 years old.
Experience coaching, teaching or
instructing young people is desirable,
but not essential.We also want to hear about any
experience you have delivering other
activities such as
arts/dance/music/computing/science. We would love to hear about any
childcare/educational play certificates
you may have!
Skills
You will be able to work in a busy
environment as part of a friendly
team, interfacing with parents, staff
and most importantly the children.
You will have the ability to adapt to
different situations and think
creatively.
Enthusiastic with a genuine passion
for working with children.
Strong interpersonal and
communication skills.
