Summary
The post holder will facilitate evidence-based practice, and promote and undertake research, service improvement collaboratives and clinical audit within their service pathways and across the Trust. They will also design and provide clinical/practical and theory-based education and training to other staff groups, including (not limited to) nurses and Allied Health Professionals, pharmacists both internally across the trust's divisions but also externally if required. The post holder will work innovatively and flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing specialty and play an integral role in the operational/strategic development of the podiatry service. The post holder will provide clinical leadership and expertise in all elements of podiatry by providing information, support, advice, and specialist knowledge to patients, carers and families and act as a resource to the multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will deliver a minimum of 50% and maximum 80% clinical component to their role, the rest of the percentage should be spread evenly across the other 3 pillars within their service, pathway and trust as required.
