Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Trust to join our amazing endoscopy team as our new Consultant Clinical Endoscopist.
The successful applicant will be an experienced clinical endoscopist (in both modalities), prescriber and leader who has experience in research, audit and clinical governance with a strong record in training and development. You will lead a team of well established clinical endoscopists and a growing group of trainees. Working in collaboration with our Endoscopy Matron and senior leadership team you will have the opportunity to develop in the role to promote our service and the profession.
• Expert clinician across the four pillars of advanced practice (clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research) in endoscopy
• Leadership, development and management of the clinical endoscopists
• Undertake clinical endoscopies (both modalities)
• Clinical governance, research and audit
• Development of guidelines, policies and procedures
• Service development and quality improvement
• Engaging with key Stakeholders within the Trust and external (across South West London and beyond) to advance the service for the betterment of patient care
• Part of the senior endoscopy team supporting JAG accreditation
