Summary
The FSC is a hardworking, dynamic team working across undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research recruitment. We provide essential support throughout the admissions cycle, including:
Enquiry handling across multiple channels (telephone, email, live chat, online forms and WhatsApp)
Interview and assessment coordination for Schools across the University
Conversion activity support, including pre-application and post-offer engagement
As an Administrator within the FSC, you will:
Provide timely, accurate and friendly responses to prospective students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders
Support the University’s admissions processes by delivering high-quality administrative services
Co-ordinate and assist with University-wide and School/Department level recruitment interviews and assessments.
Work collaboratively with other teams across the University to deliver proactive campaigns, recruiting the very best students for the University.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer-focused environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good IT literacy, including confidence using databases and Microsoft tools
The ability to prioritise workloads and work well within a team
A positive, proactive approach to service delivery and continuous improvement
Additional Information
This role is full-time (36.25 hours) and fixed term for 11 months
Hybrid working is currently in place: a minimum of 2 days per week on campus, with remote working for the remainder (subject to operational requirements and future review)
Some evening and weekend working is required, including a minimum of four Saturdays per year to support recruitment events (with paid overtime or TOIL)
Restrictions may apply to annual leave during the Confirmation & Clearing period (August)
The role is subject to a six-month probation period
