Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced CSCS/ Construction Tutor demystify the construction sector, equip learners with the essential knowledge to pass the Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test, and prepare them for employment. You will be the bridge between unemployment and a sustainable career in construction, building confidence and ensuring learners are "site ready."

As a CSCS Tutor, you should have:

CSCS Card Holder: Must hold a valid CSCS card at a minimum of a Skilled Worker level (Blue Card) or above (Gold/Black).
Industry Experience: Proven vocational experience working within the UK construction industry (e.g., Site Supervisor, Tradesperson, Site Manager).
Occupational Competence: Up-to-date knowledge of current health and safety legislation and construction site practices.
Mobility: Willingness to travel to different venues if required.
Teaching Qualification: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, CET, or PGCE) or a willingness to work towards one.
A understanding of RARPA as well as the EIF and the quality processes that underpin your delivery.
Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
Strong working knowledge of OFSTEDs Education Inspection Framework.
A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other.
A passion for adult education and making a difference!




Whilst we normally expect our tutors to hold a recognised teaching qualification, we also recognise that many individuals are qualified by experience. These tutors often bring a wealth of transferable skills and subject expertise that can add real value to our courses.
