Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a warehouse/yard operative for our well-established client based in Witney, with immediate starts available.

This role is ideal for experienced and reliable warehouse and yard operatives who are confident with driving FLT trucks and want to join a supportive and professional team.
Requirements:
- FLT licence or experience
- Previous yard or warehouse experience
- Multi-drop or pallet network experience
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Good data accuracy, numeracy and basic IT skills
Hours and Pay:
- Start times between 06.00am - 18.00pm
- £12.90 per hour (PAYE)
- Temp to Perm position (12 weeks temporary to permanent)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with deliveries in unloading and loading vehicles at the branch
- Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations within the warehouse/yard
- Prepare customer orders and sign for deliveries
- Report stock breakages and maintain accurate stock records through stock checks
- Carrying out daily checks and maintaining forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe working condition
