Summary
Responsible for the cost-efficient operation of building environmental control systems to ensure optimized equipment performance, energy utilization, indoor air quality and comfort. Candidate willensure compliance with Health Technical Memorandum & Building Management Systems (BMS) to support the Senior Management Team in the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the hospital estate. Key duties include supporting building operations through the installation, commissioning, programming, troubleshooting and repair of the environmental control systems as well as monitoring the BMS for HVAC and water systems throughout.
To undertake, and be responsible for, the maintenance of the following critical equipment:
Ø Building Management System
Ø Plant Control Equipment
Ø Energy Monitoring/Management
Ø Ventilation
• Responsible for ensuring that an effective system for the regular testing, maintenance and repair is in place for all BMS installations, plant and equipment.
Programs BMS controls and sequences of operations, monitor, troubleshoots, and refines the BMS to meet the equipment specifications.
