Summary

Maintenance Technician (part-qualified) - 25 hours per week, permanent

PG5 - £29,429.51 per annum (40 hrs FTE) ie £14.11 per hour


The purpose of the role is to provide day to day repairs and maintenance duties across Lincs Inspire Limited and where appropriate to support both planned, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, as managed and directed by the charity’s landlord property management arrangements.


Duties will include:

- carry out all required water safety and temperature checks, and ensure all pool plant equipment is running to its optimum performance and efficiency.
- carry out routine repairs and maintenance, subject to landlord/property company’s consent, and in-keeping with the skills required by a competent DIY person.
- carry out reactive house-keeping duties (defined as inspections, testing, minor repairs, replacements and decorations) with as little disruption as reasonably practical.
- carry out routine checks and inspections as determined by the Technical Manager, for example; testing of alarms, safety lighting, drinking water etc. For all testing requirements training and guidance will be readily available.


The successful candidate will have:

- joinery, decorating, building maintenance experience.
- ability to read and understand technical instructions/ and use computer based job logging and recording systems.
- ability to prioritise and organise work planning and respond to call outs.
- ability to drive a company van.
- ability to work flexibly, at times including evenings, weekend and bank holiday requirements to meet the needs of the business which operates 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.

Candidates are required to possess a current Level 3 Pool Plant Operator qualification. Alternatively, we can provide the opportunity to achieve this qualification at the start of your employment with us. Your appointment will be subject to the conditions of the Lincs Inspire training agreement.
