Pay: £13.50 - £14.00ph (experience dependant)
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence for a busy warehouse in Colchester, Essex. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability the right candidate.
This is a varied role combining forklift work, general warehouse duties, and occasional 3.5-tonne van driving, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Duties of the Forklift Driver:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to load, unload, and move stock
- General warehouse duties, including unloading containers
- Booking stock in and organising goods within the warehouse
- Using the in-house CRM system to track stock movements and maintain accurate records
- Occasional local deliveries using a 3.5t company van
What we're looking for in a Forklift Driver:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
- Previous logistics distribution and supply chain experience preferred
- Basic IT confidence for internal systems
Pay & Hours:
- £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (experience dependant)
- Monday to Friday
- 9am-5pm
- Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person
