We are seeking an experienced and motivated catering professional to lead kitchen teams across the Hope Valley, Bakewell, High Peak and Glossop areas. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines hands‑on catering with leadership, organisation and a passion for excellent service.
About the role
As a Peri‑Peripatetic Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of school kitchens, including:
Preparation, cooking and service of high‑quality meals
Leading and supporting kitchen teams across multiple sites
Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
Completing clerical duties using a digital catering management system
The safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of our customers is our priority. You will play a key role in creating positive lunchtime experiences and must be able to demonstrate an attitude that is appropriate and professional within a school environment.
What you’ll need
Full UK driving licence and daily access to a car (essential)
NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality or relevant equivalent experience
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
Organisational and communication skills
