About Us
We are a dedicated and forward‑thinking organisation committed to delivering high‑quality care and fostering a supportive, collaborative working environment. Our team is driven by compassion, professionalism, and a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
About the Role
This position is primarily a driving role. We are recruiting a confident, safe, and reliable driver who will spend the majority of the working day driving a company car and transporting another carer between client visits.
Alongside driving, you will support your colleague in delivering personal care and daily living assistance during each visit. Applicants must be fully comfortable with a role where driving is the main responsibility and care delivery is carried out jointly with another carer
Client‑Centred Care
Some of the individuals we support have expressed preferences regarding the personal care they receive. For this reason, we welcome applicants who are comfortable providing sensitive, intimate, and dignity‑focused personal care, and who can build trust and rapport with clients who may have specific comfort needs.
Key Responsibilities
-Drive a company car between client homes throughout the day, following a planned rota
-Transport and support another carer during all visits
-Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care
-Support clients with daily living tasks, including personal care where required
-Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and external professionals
-Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures
-Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times
-Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
Essential Requirements
-Full UK driving licence
-Access to your own vehicle (insured for business use)
-Confident driving long distances and navigating multiple visits
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to high‑quality care
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Good organisational skills and attention to detail
-Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice
-Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic care environment
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)
- Previous experience in care or support roles
- Training or knowledge related to personal care, safeguarding, or health and social care
- Confidence using digital tools and care‑recording systems
If you do not meet every desirable criterion, we still encourage you to apply. We value potential, transferable skills, and a positive attitude.
What We Offer
- A supportive and inclusive workplace where your contributions are valued
- Opportunities for training, development, and career progression
- A role where you can make a meaningful difference
- Competitive pay and benefits package
- A team culture built on respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement
