A key part of the role's portfolio will be leading on the delivery of our responsibilities as a YORhub member, working collaboratively with other YORhub local authorities to support the effective governance, promotion, and ongoing development of YORhub construction frameworks. The role involves actively promoting the frameworks across North Yorkshire, supporting public sector bodies to understand and access them effectively, and acting as a key point of contact for client enquiries. You will be responsible for engaging with public sector organisations across the North Yorkshire and City of York to maximise take‑up, ensure compliant use of the frameworks, and strengthen relationships that support wider strategic and commercial objectives.

A further area you will be involved with is the procurement and mobilisation of regeneration schemes, working closely with the Regeneration and Property service areas to deliver complex, place‑based projects. The role involves proactive market engagement to shape and secure effective commercial and delivery arrangements with development partners, ensuring schemes are viable, deliverable and aligned to the Council’s regeneration ambitions. You will play a key role in putting robust procurement and contractual arrangements in place to support the regeneration of local communities where schemes are identified, while maximising commercial attractiveness and securing optimal financial and wider value returns for the Council.
