Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected construction business delivering quality projects across the South Coast.
We are seeking a commercially astute professional to take ownership of two live projects located in Worthing and Lancing, with a combined value of approximately £7 million. This role offers a great balance of site involvement and flexibility, with a requirement to attend the Southampton office once per week and the potential to work from home one day per week depending on workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of two concurrent construction projects
- Cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Maintaining strong financial control and reporting
- Liaising with project teams to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ideally based in or around the Chichester area
