Summary
Job Description:
Word Practitioners Ministry is seeking a committed Religious Worker to support the delivery of its faith-based activities and community outreach programmes.
This is a supporting role within the ministry, assisting with religious services, pastoral activities, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of church services, prayer meetings, and Bible study sessions
Assist ministers in preparing and organising worship activities
Provide support in evangelism and outreach programmes
Assist in pastoral care activities, including visiting members and supporting vulnerable individuals
Help organise church events, community programmes, and faith-based initiatives
Support administrative and operational functions within the ministry
Assist in youth, family, and community engagement activities
Person Specification:
Essential:
A committed practicing Christian aligned with the ministry’s values
Experience in church or faith-based activities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to support ministry activities as part of a team
Flexible and able to work evenings and weekends
Desirable:
Basic theological knowledge or ministry training
Experience in community outreach or volunteering
