This role is ideal for individuals who are calm, compassionate and committed to supporting children both academically and pastorally.The Teaching Assistant Role - Complex Needs SettingAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning in a safe, structured and nurturing environment.Your role will include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and differentiation
  • Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Helping pupils engage with learning activities
  • Supporting transitions, routines and daily structure
  • Working closely with SENCOs, therapists and pastoral staff

This is a hands‑on, classroom‑based role focused on supporting learning, wellbeing and behaviour.Working in a Complex Needs School in WolverhamptonComplex needs settings are highly supportive and team‑focused, with strong systems in place.You can expect:
