Summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist to join the team. The role includes managing your own caseload as well as screening and co-ordinating new Stroke ESD referrals. The caseload includes; assessing and treating patients with acquired and progressive neurological conditions as part of an interdisciplinary team
Our team comprises of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Support workers
Successful applicants will be part of an enthusiastic, client centred team delivering goal focused interventions for patients in the community while working collaboratively with GPs, acute hospitals, Social care and other third sector organisations.
We have a well-established structure for clinical supervision and in service training; this will provide you with fantastic opportunities to enhance your existing knowledge and skills. It will also support your clinical work and professional development.
• To perform physiotherapy assessment of patients with neurological presentations on the Stroke and neuro rehabilitation pathways to develop and deliver an individualised treatment program.
• To work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, client led rehab interventions
• To hold responsibility for own caseload, working with and without direct supervision.
• Provide support for the clinical supervision and appraisal for student physiotherapists and give direction to members of support staff.
• To undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to inform own and general Physiotherapy practice within the unit.
