Summary


A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Gynaecology Service within the Women & Children’s Division as aBand 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist - Hysteroscopist.

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and compassionate clinician to deliver high‑quality outpatient hysteroscopy services across our MSE hospital sites. You will take responsibility for your own patient caseload and play a crucial role in ensuring timely, safe, and effective diagnostic pathways for women.
• Perform independent outpatient hysteroscopy procedures, including diagnostic examinations and minor therapeutic interventions, in line with national BSGE-recognised standards.
• Assess, triage, and prioritise referralsto appropriate clinics or clinicians.
• Manage own caseload, including diagnosing, acting on results, initiating treatment per local/national guidelines, and arranging follow‑up.
• Provide specialist clinical advice and patient support, ensuring evidence‑based, compassionate, high-quality care.
• Discharge patients appropriatelyback to primary care with complete documentation.
